On-The-Go
I’ve used a Pela phone case for as long as I can remember. I love that it’s totally compostable and has a nice grip from the lil plant-based fibers.
This is my favorite reusable straw to carry with me on-the-go. It’s light weight and the cleaning tool works so much better than others I’ve tried.
I use Stasher bags just about every day! From storing my compost in the freezer, to packing snacks on-the-go, as beach cleanup companions, and lots more!

At-Home
I use my Food Huggers on a daily basis. They work great for lemons, tomatoes, bananas, and just about any other round lil fruit or veggies you can think of!
Blueland has a growing collection of truly effective and non-toxic cleaning products (with compostable refills!). I especially love their laundry detergent & dishwasher tabs.
I’ll sincerely never use a paper towel again! These Swedish dish cloths are so effective and I love how many uses you can get out of them!
Struggling with wilted leafy greens? I was until I started using these produce bags that actually work!

I’ve been using Activist Skincare products for a couple years now as part of my skin routine - my favorites are the Sea To Skin Cleansing Gel & Active Hydration Serum!
Okay, I don’t know how I didn’t know about these sooner but konjac sponges are so cool! I love that its gentle on the skin and fully compostable.
Toothtabs are a plastic-free toothpaste alternative and these ones from Huppy are my absolute favorite. Their mouthwash tabs are great too — and super easy to travel with!
I find plastic tampon applicators at the beach ALL the time. Don’t believe me? Go stalk my Instagram and you’ll see it’s true. Menstrual cups are a great way to keep your period plastic-free!
My favorite ways to shop low waste are through brands doing innovative & impactful work (like many listed above!), thrift shops, local refilleries and online at Zero Waste Store.
